Bernie McCullough is a mother of two, writer, and successful business woman. Having dabbled in short stories in her twenties, the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020 unlocked her creative flow, giving her the time and space to write again.
Her first book of poetry entitled, “The 2020 Poetry Effect” was self-published in 2021 (available on Amazon). It is a thought-provoking collection of poetry written during the period April to December 2020 in chronological order. They cover everything from nature to self-discovery, spirituality, love, kindness, and joy; but also loss, healing, parenthood and the trials and tribulations of being a busy working mum and wife.
Bernie’s short stories, poems and plogs have been published in Ireland’s Own Magazine, Highland Park Poetry, along with various online Medium.com publications including Know Thyself, Heal Thyself, Illumination, Blue Insights, Soul Magazine and Share The Love.
